While back you might recall me visiting Fleetwood on the Fylde coast in Lancashire. For me lunch I had fish fingers, chips and mushy peas from a fish and chip shop in Fleetwood.
Let’s throw the fishing rod out to what bites!
The fish and chip shop is called The Eating Plaice and It has served fish of every size to the hungry visitors and residents of Fleetwood. for 11 years form the Lord Street Premise.
You can choose to eat your food in the restaurant or order it from the takeout counter.
That just how you eat their food, you can also choose the size/weight and the type of fish you want with you chips.
- Size/weight available
- Small | 4-5oz
- Regular | 8-10oz
- Jumbo | 18-20oz
- Type of fish you can choice.
During my visit to this place and it happened to be the dinner time rush, I saw countless unusual combination that was not familiar with a northern.
- Fish Barm [Like a fish cake or a scallop on a muffin]
- Tray of bits
- Mayo on top of battered fish
- Bits and Pieces [Bits, Battered Cod, Peas and Chips]
You name it this plaice will try to cook up a wave for you.
